Dennis
Dennis received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Washington and became a CPA in 1981. This was his second choice after stand-up comedy because he knew he’d never make a living on the stage. However, he considers humor to be essential and is committed to proving that accountants are much more than bean counters. After learning the ropes of the accounting business as a Controller for a three-location restaurant group, he became a partner in a CPA practice which he later acquired. In 1987 he changed the name to Dennis B. Goldstein & Associates and has been managing the practice for the last 30 years.
Dennis is known as an engaging and experienced financial coach who guides his clients through the complexities of personal, business, trust and estate tax preparation and planning. His focus is to educate and advise his clients through life’s twists and turns so that they can rest easier knowing they have a partner in managing what can be the intimidating and stressful world of tax law and its application. His greatest joy is to help clients make better informed decisions about their finances and taxes. His favorite number is 13 because that was the number on the pinewood derby car that took him to victory as a cub scout.
Dennis has lived in the greater Seattle area since 1973 and currently resides in Bellevue. He and his wife have raised two children who currently live in the area, so he can enjoy them and his grandson. He enjoys bowling, scuba diving and travel, and has a passion for history. Dennis has always been an active member of his synagogue and been engaged in the community by holding seats as treasurer and president on non-profit boards supporting education and historical preservation.
