Laura Kinney

A Northwest native, Laura graduated from the University of Washington with honors and earned my BA in Accounting along with a minor in mathematics. Laura later obtained a Master of Taxation from Golden Gate University.

After initially beginning a career in the world of cost accounting, Laura made the switch to public accounting in 1999. Laura’s professional experience over the years has grown to encompass a full breadth of individuals, partnerships, corporations, fiduciaries, non-profits, and business advisory services.

In this age of rapid technologic advancement, even accountants must keep an eye on innovation and ongoing improvement or get left behind. Laura has often taken the lead in the design and implementation of new technology, software, and processes during her career. From simple process changes to sweeping digital conversions, her goal is to ensure all improvements are done with an eye toward the goal of improving client service.

Laura’s business philosophy is client centric. Whether she is working on a tax return, offering consulting services, or representing a client in a tax audit, her goal is to ensure the clients have the best possible outcome while achieving their long-term financial goals.

Away from the office, Laura can be found enjoying time with family and friends, hosting neighborhood movies, sewing quilts for charities, reading, and even attending a gaming convention or two.
